Where to take old refrigerators near me

where can i take old refrigerator ? where to take old fridge near me ?

Not sure where to take that old refrigerator, air conditioner, water heater or stove? Montgomery County Environmental Services will once again host Appliance Amnesty Weekend, Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 3-5. Montgomery County residents can dispose of old appliances free of charge. Additionally, any DP&L customer (from any county) may bring in a working refrigerator or freezer and earn $50 or bring in any working room air conditioner or dehumidifier and earn $20.
Montgomery County Environmental Services offers special disposal programs open to all Montgomery County residents to prevent illegal dumping, promote recycling, and protect soil and waterways from pollution or contamination. Residents can bring their appliances to the Montgomery County Solid Waste Transfer Facility, where licensed technicians will remove any refrigerant, such as Freon, free of charge. Metal components will be recycled rather than placed in a landfill. Microwaves, small countertop appliances or outdoor grills are not part of this free program, but these items can be taken for a nominal fee. Appliances will be accepted at the Montgomery County Solid Waste District Transfer and Recycling Facility, located at 1001 Encrete Lane in Moraine. Drop off dates and times are: Thursday and Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The facility also accepts appliances throughout the year for a small fee. For information, call 937-225-4999, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For more, visit www.mcohio.org/departments/environmental_services/.
